Sedation Dentistry
Are you afraid of the dentist? Have you ever had a bad dental experience? Do
you hate needles or the noise associated with a dental visit?
Never be afraid to go to the dentist again!
Have your dental work done while you are relaxed and comfortable, retaining
little memory of your visit. Just imagine having your beautiful smile
restored or being able to eat the foods you love without pain. Let sedation
dentistry change your life.
How is sedation dentistry done?
You will be given a prescription for a small pill to take prior to your
dental visit. (You must be accompanied by a responsible adult, since you
will not be able to drive). When you arrive, you will feel relaxed and your
dental treatment will be completed in what will seem like a very short time.
You will feel relaxed and calm for several hours after your visit. Because
you will have little to no memory of your visit, it makes for a positive
dental experience.
Is sedation dentistry safe?
Properly administered sedation has relatively few risks. Dr. Gerber is
specially trained in sedation dentistry and the entire staff is certified in
cardiac life support for your additional safety. Relatively few dentists are
able to offer this type of dentistry, but here at Gerber Dental Care, your
comfort and safety are our primary concerns.
